My name is Kayla and I'm 20 years old. I'm very new into health and social care but wanted to explore a new career. Upon looking on multiple websites, Sorelle was a company that kept coming up, i looked on the social media pages and knew I could see myself within this role.

From the first phone call, I was welcomed into an amazing company, from the regular communication, to support whenever I need it. Flexible work hours and casual work wear appealed to me.

I'm proud to say that I absolutely love my job and the company I work for. Every supported individual is different and that's why I love going to work every day. From completing day to day tasks to meeting up with other colleges and supported people on a day out!

When joining Sorelle I was brand new to health and social care, having been working part time in retail. It was nerve wracking at first, being a whole new experience but I was excited to have a new challenge. In the 5 years I’ve been with Sorelle, I’ve learnt so much and grown both professionally and personally.

My favourite part of my day always has been, and still is, spending time with the individuals we support. Everyone is different and whether we are just having a chat and cleaning or we’re tackling a life crisis, I walk away feeling like we’re making a positive difference. The support team really can be a game changer for someone who just needs to be heard and understood or someone needs us to walk with them through a difficult time.

The opportunities Sorelle has offered me, supporting my personal growth has meant I’m confident enough to follow the next path in my life and I’m soon to leave Sorelle to go to university. But I’ll miss it loads, and working within this team has been such a valuable experience in so so many ways! Thank you!

This is the second company I have worked with in health and social care.

Sorelle was recommended to me as a company that cares about their employees and are very flexible.

Being a mum of 3 school age children finding work to accommodate my family dynamics is paramount. I have worked for Sorelle now for 1 year, in that time they a proven to be accommodating, flexible, considerate and understanding. Being mothers their selves they have created a company that’s ethos is for the people:

Those people, are the people they work tirelessly to help each day, meet their needs, challenge themselves and aspire to do so much more, as they are helped to believe in themselves.

Those people are also myself, and maybe even you if you chose to give them a try? I feel valued, appreciated and listened to, which makes this juggling work with family thing a lot less stressful.

Also a Mental wellbeing day has also recently been implemented, which gives you and extra paid day, in the current climate it much appreciated, and shows they care about those that work for them.

I can honestly say I enjoy my job, and working for Sorelle. Even though it can be challenging at times (but that depends on who you work with, which Sorelle are also very understanding with), personally I love a challenge: ) and love to see the people we support grow in confidence and achieve things they never thought they could, and knowing that you have played a part in that is rewarding in its self.

I definitely recommend, it’s very rewarding with a company that Actually Cares.

When I was looking to return to work after having children, I was after something flexible and rewarding - health and social care fitted the bill perfectly. I came across the job advert for a Support Worker at Sorelle and knew it would be a lovely company to work for, from my first conversation with one of the recruiters.

As a support worker, you learn a huge amount. The people we support come from all walks of life and have varying needs, it’s a real eye opening experience. You’ll end up learning a lot about yourself too. I’ve built up some wonderful relationships, feel appreciated and valued, but above all, you feel like you are making a difference in other people’s lives. There’s a real balance between the more challenging days and having lots of fun!

You also learn loads from the ongoing training that Sorelle provide, meaning that you are always empowered with knowledge and working at the top of your game. I’ve been lucky enough to have been promoted, so there’s room to move up within the company if you put in the hard work and are willing to grow and take on new duties.

I’d highly recommend working for Sorelle – so don’t hesitate in giving them a call!

I have been working as a support worker at Sorelle Support for over 8 years now and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I have found the work to be both rewarding and occasionally challenging, and I have learned a great deal about myself and about working with people with disabilities.

One of the things I love most about working at Sorelle Support is the sense of community that exists among the staff. We are all working towards the same goal, which is to help our service users live their best lives, and we support each other in achieving this. I have made some great friends here, and I feel like I am part of a team.

The management at Sorelle Support are also very supportive. They are always willing to listen to my ideas and concerns, and they are always there to help me when I need it. I feel like I can trust them to have my best interests at heart.

Overall, I would highly recommend working at Sorelle Support to anyone who is looking for a rewarding career in social care. The work is meaningful, the staff are supportive, and the management are excellent.

- Flexible hours,
- Friendly and approachable management,
- Good training and opportunities to gain qualifications and a great
- Sense of community among staff
- Rewarding work.

I would highly recommend this Sorelle Support.
